Dr. William Harris Burstein, MD

Burstein associates has been our family physician for over 50 years. We were going to this office when his father was the practicing physician. But I don't know what happened. The quality started slipping, the staff started getting a rude, and then all of a sudden we were no longer a patient there. And when I called to ask why, they said the doctor was not willing to go into the archives to find out. I know we had a battle over a $25 fee for about 2 years, and they kept billing us, even though we had already discussed it and settled the matter, but they kept billing us. Eventually I just paid the $25 just to get it out of our hair. And then being flatly denied a PCP any longer. And for that kind of reason. But maybe this is for the best, because I was noticing that the service was getting worse and worse, and the diagnoses were getting more and more incorrect, and then finally the office manager Michelle getting so nasty with us and angry because we didn't want to come into the… doctor's office every month so they can make more money when there was nothing wrong with us. It's a shame but when the quality gets lost there really is no point in using the service anymore. So we're just going to go to another physician, or we'll go to Oak Street Health. First Jefferson, now Burstein. It really is a shame to see a good doctor go bad.

Dr Burstein has been our family doctor for many years. He is compationate and very concerned about our care and 9wellbeing.

I have been a patient of Dr Burstein for 15 years and I know when I have any health problems, I am in the best hands with him and his staff They are so efficient and he and his staff have such a great bedside manner! When I am not feeling well and I must be seen by Dr Burstein, my mood improves just knowing I will be seeing him and his wonderful kind and caring staff. I believe if interns want to know how they should interact with their patients, they should spend a day with him while he makes his rounds from patient to patient.

Dr. Burstein and his staff are wonderful people- I know I am in the best hands at his office. He is a very intelligent doctor who makes me feel like he cares about my needs and never lets me leave without feeling that I have all of my questions and concerns taken care of. I have been a patient for over 20 years and enjoy going to Dr. Burstein's office. I would definitely recommend to family and friends!

Almost half of the staff is always rude, condescending, and avoids doing their job - no matter how simple of a job it is. I have yet to meet the doctor, but the nurse practitioner is very sweet. The last visit I had involved the secretary raising her voice at me, she ended up leaving early, and she was of very little help to me. Another employee had to do her job, seeing as the secretary left, and she still didn't do it right. I had to call the insurance company and the insurance company told me that they should've done the work to begin with. I'd never go there again, and will be reporting them to the BBB... If not the Medical Board of Pennsylvania.

You are in good medical hands when you talk on the phone or have an office visit. Wonderful office staff.

Dr. Burstein made me feel very comfortable in his office, and he seemed like he genuinely cared about my health. Not only did he come across as an intelligent and competent doctor, but as a compassionate individual. I would recommend Dr. Burstein to the entirety of my friends and family, and will definitely continue seeing him for my primary care needs!

Dr. Burstein has a terrible bedside manner. He made me feel like I was wasting his time. I would not recommend going to him. Worst dr I've ever gone to.
