Dr. William Peter Carlson, MD

Dr. Carlson can be helpful-but is sure not a people person! He is generally condescending and rude-and takes little time with you in his office. Nevertheless-his care is better than nothing, and because there are so few doctors in our area it is hard to replace him with another doctor. IF you can find a better doctor with an opening--by all means TAKE it!

Horrible people skills. He is not thorough. Fails to explain. Not good at engaging in two-way conversation. Does a brief exam & ends the session. I've never felt cared for when seeing him. I've left his office feeling insignificant. My issues with him might just be a clash of personalities, or he could just be an awful doctor. Shop around and see him as a last resort!

Asked me why I refused to take Penicillin despite it being clearly labeled in my file as an allergy; informed me that because of how bad my tonsillitis was, that I was making it very difficult for him in finding a drug to take for chronic strep and tonsillitis and advised me that Penicillin would be the best option in the end. As it is, it is a very common allergy, so I haven't the foggiest how this could be so freakin' difficult to work around?? Otherwise, he never spends more than 3 minutes face time with me. Rudest doctor ever. Good luck getting a hold of him to boot.

I had a problem and the doctor was able to see me the day I called for the appointment. He was able to correct my problem that day. I couldn't be happier.
