Dr. William Emil Carroll II, MD

I started seeing Dr. Carroll after having surgery for a subdural hematoma. I started have simple and complex seizures. I was on several anticonvulsants with no relief in sight. I was stuck at home lest I suffer a seizure. I was having them daily. Dr. Carroll, after a lot of work, discovered that I am allergic to a filler used in Indian manufactured drugs and that was causing my seizures. This is a very rare allergy. I now have to make sure that any prescriptions I get are not made in India. I have had only two seizures in the past nine years and both were because I didn't check my prescriptions and got one made in India.

I had Dr. Carroll examine my brother while he was visiting us in the US. My brother resides overseas and has been suffering from MS for almost 5 years now. Dr. Carroll showed a lot of care and professionalism and spent a lot of time examining his MRI images, testing his coordination, strength, senses and reflexes, as as eye movements and vision, muscle coordination, hearing and balance, movement of the tongue and responsiveness to touch and pinches. He was explaining everything all along and made sure we walked away with an understanding of his situation. This was later followed by a thorough report and recommendations for his doctors overseas with information on alternative drugs and treatments that they can explore.

He is very empathetic. The best!

Dr. Carroll has been my doctor for many years and has helped me very much with my migraines. I would not want to go to another doctor.

Dr. Carroll has been my Neurologist for 12 yrs. He's done so much for me and also my family. He is very friendly and caring. Its also easy for me to get into his office to see him. I'll never go see another doctor as long as he's around here. I tell everyone that if they need a neurologist to go see him. He's an awesome doctor. It took me months to get my initial appointment. During that time I had some problems and talked to his nurse Tina. She refused to even talk to the doctor about them to see if he wanted to see me sooner or admit me. Even though, 3 different ER's told me I needed to get in to see him asap. Very frustrating. Once you are past her though, he is wonderful. Understanding. His Westerville office staff was great as well.

He has been my son's Dr. for about 2 yrs now. I have not had any problems with the appointments always a timely manner. He always takes his time with us answers all questions. I have called the office to ask random questions he gets back with me in a timely manner. I have no complants.

He is a very kind and caring person who makes things feel better and gives great hope to his patients.

Dr. Carroll was very patient, kind and took his time with all our question and concerns. It was late in the evening and he was was not in a hurry and I felt very comfortable with everything he told me and would definitely recommend his services.

I was referred to Dr. Carroll for a movement disorder. I have something called cervical dystonia which requires injection into my neck...approximately 12 injection. I use to receive botulin A(Botox)but it was confirmed that my body now has built up an immunity to it. I was told to come to the appointment where I would receive injection of myobloc instead. When Dr Carroll was preparing the shots, I noticed on the vials that it said Botulin A and not myobloc. His words were "oh shoot...your right...I forgot" He then said "well..since you here...lets use this since we do not have any mobloc on hand". I was a bit confused by this but he being the doctor and I was in extreme pain I figured he knew something I didn't. Needless to say....it did not work and caused more pain. He then asked me to set a follow up appointment a month later to see if it worked. I did...showing him no positive results and more pain. He then told me we needed to wait a total of three month before he could inject me… with mybloc and to set the appointment up. I did so....and when I got there...I waited an hour...was asked to do more paperwork as if I was never there. I then was taken to a back room and my bloodpressure was taken. I was then told the doctor would be in to see me for my follow-up. I said "follow-up??? I am here to get the myobloc shots." The nurse said no....it is a follow up. I asked "A follow-up to the follow-up!?!?!?!" I obviously was not happy and she said she could set another appointment!!!!!! Dr. Carroll was nowhere to be seen and did not offer any help what so ever!! I never saw him!!!!! To this day, I have not received one phone call from his office! At this point, I have turned this over to my attorney and am seeking legal action against him. By the way.....he billed my insurance company for the botched injections and the visit he did not see me at. He will be help accountable
