Dr. William Aiken Chafin III, MD

Dr. Chafin is a very compassionate dr. He is really concerned about his patients. I would recommend him to family and friends.

You could not find a better Dr. for the treatment of RA.

I'm in my 60s and had Juvenile RA starting at age 4. When many years later my GP referred me to Dr. Chafin based on a suspicion, Dr. Chafin and I were both convinced (upon his examination and my recounting of activities) that I did not have RA. One thing I love about him is that several days later he called and was so sincere and sorry and almost disbelieving that I lacked pretty much all the physical symptoms but that my labs were all strong indicators that he and I were both wrong. I've been under his care for several years now an everything he's done, prescribed, recommended has made a positive difference in my health and life. His office staff is responsive and friendly and caring; his PA is fantastic. And he is simply the best medical blessing in my life.

Dr Chafin, Emily FNP, and staff have been wonderful to me. Going above and beyond to help me get better. I feel sure I would not be walking at this time without all the advice, help, and assistance getting my medications!

He does not believe that diet has anything to do with how one feels.

Dr. Chafin is an excellent diagnostician who really cares about his patients.

He is an excellent doctor; takes time with the patient; doesn't treat one as if you are on an assembly line and need to be rushed out; he answers all questions, and will even show you pictures to illustrate what he's talking about. Could not ask for better!
