Dr. William Paschal Clarke, MD

I was very disappointed with my visit with Dr. Clarke, I agree with the prior post regarding disrespect and lack of common sense. He had me admitted to a hospital after telling me a certain medicine to treat infection was blacklisted and unable to be prescribed and as soon as I get to the hospital after being admitted I was asked why that medication was not used, and I said just because this doctor refused to prescribe it. He justified it because of a condition that a family member of mine has after I told him over and over that the specific medication I was requesting would not give me a problem is I’ve had it many times in the past. The doctor himself even kept saying over and over how much the medication would help but it’s been “black boxed”. They’re giving it to me via infusion as I speak at another hospital. Very upset with this. As I voiced to him my concerns and he just belittled me and treated me as if I was stupid.

Sadly Dr Clarke argues and belittles patients rather than cooperates with the individuals. He is elderly, and after receiving my discharge paperwork, it is clear that his stability is in question due to the fact that my prescription dose differed completely from my after care instructions. For those seeking relief and medical professionalism, I would recommend another MD.
