Dr. William Edward Clutter, MD

I feel very well cared for. Dr.Clutter gave me many suggestions on improving my health, is caring and I felt he listened to my concerns. BJC is a teaching hospital, so you will spend time with a doctor in training, who will examine you first. Great practice.

Unfortunately it may be time for Dr. Clutter to retire. His fellow was very attentive and understanding. He however did not address any of my concerns and did not want to run some basic tests to check for levels. He was very condescending and bordered on being rude. I felt that he assumes much and does not investigate. This is a poor trait in an endocrinologist.

Drove over two and a half hours to see Dr. Clutter. He had an intern do all the physical assessments, then 20 mins later came in to get half of the information given to him incorrect. He barely examined me, shot down all of my concerns as if I was stupid, and has no real knowledge of the disease I was there for. If you can't listen, can't examine and can't show compassion you really need to retire. I was sent home with a whopping THREE measly tests to do that any physician could have ordered. Thanks for being a complete arrogant jerk and wasting my time and taking more time away from my life when I came to you in desperation.
