Dr. Cohen learned to treat cervicogenic migraine from my first neurosurgeon who was the international expert on the problem. I found him to be easy to talk with, good sense of humor, sympathetic and understanding, and helpful throughout the years he treated me. His staff was friendly, professional and attentive. For the treatment I need, a very steady hand is a necessity. I never felt in any danger because his hands are rock steady, he is focused and does not rush, and is thorough. Mine is one of the most severe examples of cervicogenic migraine without, miraculously, any paralysis. Because he had worked under my first neurosurgeon, I was not surprised that he is one of the few pain specialists who understands my problem and is the only one who will treat it at the C1 level. He is also not afraid to advocate appropriate use of pain medications, including narcotics/opioids when the problem requires it and the patient has had no indications of addiction or misuse to such… medications. I recommend him to anyone with cervical spine problems.

Dr. Cohen is a wonderful doctor. He didn't seem to be in a rush. He took his time during our visit and explained what my problem was. I had to go back for tests on another day. since his treatment, my headaches haven't come back!
