Dr. William Anthony Colom, MD

Visited this office twice and saw William Colom both times. The second time he took it upon himself to unhook my bra when I declined to have a breast examination done (he insists that it is part of the physical, even though no other doctor since has even asked to do one, and even so, I refused it this time). Being a young 20-something I didn’t know who I should tell if anyone, but I never went back to him.

Has been treating me since he arrived in the area, maybe 40 +/- years

Horrible office system. They don't call back. Seem annoyed with you at the reception desk. Dr. Colom is a good doctor but his staff does not help you.

I don't understand why these negative comments are up here. I had to do my part and let everyone know that I do not believe the negative comments in here. I've switched Doctors in the past and I know what is excellent service and not. I've had nothing but superb treatment from Dr. Colom's staff, and received courteousness, efficiency from the doctor himself. I always recommend him to family, friends and relatives and everyone has only good things to say about Dr Colom and his staff

had me going every 4 months for nothing ...just a bp check ..went today and he was md i went to see a cardi dr since i was having issues..he said i release you and left me with no dr said i couldnt even see another dr in practice there and so now i have to scramble to find and endo and a gen practice..wouldnt even talk with me..a real A.........NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL NOT WILLING TO DISCUSS ANYTHING ITS HIS THOUGHTS OR NOTHING,,,

has you coming back every 4 months for nothing..expensive visits and of course every 4 month blood work..ripping off insurance company's..as he said of you have Anthem..they will pay..so he can drive his expensive Italian sports car..when I need him forget it told me go see a shrink......has his office staff do all the calls..never speaks to you on phone himself.....if you want to discuss an issue its come in for nother office visit which is very high priced..300-400 bucks a pop very 4 months for a routine visit that he requires.......

He's old school, a bit gruff.You'll get no sympathy from him on the small stuff, but I found him surprisingly encouraging and informative on a major matter.If there's a problem, it's the office staff.The ususal phone tag, voice mail, can't speak to a person most of the time, brusque (perhaps they take after their boss), etc. But most of all, they've got, as the expression goes, that "thousand-yard stare." I guess it comes from too much paperwork to shuffle, too many tests to perform, etc. Some seem to be in a fog.

Dr Colom has been my doctor for over 10 years. I highly recommend him. With over 35 years experience, he knows his stuff.

If I could rate him lower on the bed side matter and accuracy I WOULD!!!!! Of course he has you come back and back and back $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Dr. C has been my doctor for over 25 years and I dread the day he retires.
