Dr. William Francis Columbus, MD

I would recommend Dr.Columbus. He informed me what was the safest thing for my eyes. Told me to make sure I take care of my eyes (using eye drops) and to make sure I show up at the checkup appointments. He answered the questions I had and I felt comfortable with his answers.

For anyone considering Lasik Eye Surgery, I hope my review will be the review that will help you decide to go for it! I’ve been contemplating lasik eye surgery for nearly 4 years. At 45 years old, I had enough with wearing glasses. My vision was extremely poor. I not only had progressive lenses, I also had astigmatisms in both eyes. I also purchased glare protection for my lenses as night time driving was extremely difficult for me, especially when it rained. The only thing that ever really stopped me from Lasik was my eye phobia, however, when you finally have enough of something .. enough was enough for me. I had enough of wearing glasses. Paying nearly $500 alone for lenses as my eyes continued to get worse, the amount alone I will now save each year helped convince me to finally go for it! After my very own thorough & lengthy research of lasik eye doctors, I chose Columbus Lasik Vision & went ahead with a consult. There are no words to truly explain what Dr Columbus did for… me. The gift of sight is what Dr Columbus gave me. Dr Columbus and staff are exceptional at what they do. Not only was he extremely professional, he answered any questions or concerns I had in great detail. Procedure was pain free & less than 10 minutes from start to finish. I would not recommend anyone else. It’s been nearly a month later & my Vision is exceptional! To be able to see, let alone be able to drive at night without any problems is something I never thought I would be able to do! Go for it, it’s the BEST decision I ever made! Dr Columbus & Staff, I can not thank you enough! If I was able to give you 100 stars, I most certainly would! Dr Columbus and his staff are all very patient and kind. Dr Columbus's years of experience was comforting for me when I was trying to decide whether I was gonna have Lasik done. My consultataion was thorough and he took the time to answer each a d every question. I have been wearing corrective eyewear since the age of 2 years old. I honestly never thought Lasik could help me. I had my Lasik done yesterday, today is a new day! No glasses or contact lenses......unbelievable! I am so happy that I had this done and recommend Dr. Columbus and staff for everyone!!!

I had my Lasik done in September and couldn’t be happier!! The staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable with the procedure. Emily was soo nice and answered my 100 million questions without hesitation. Both Dr. Robert and William Columbus were very nice and knowledgeable about the procedure. The feel of the office is very laid back which I like. They offered additional products but didn’t try to push them on me. He said it could take up to two months for the best results but my vision has been excellent since the first week or two.

I am so thrilled with my vision after my PRK surgery with Dr. Columbus! It has been 10 years and I still look out the window or think as I am driving, "I just LOVE my crisp clear vision." When people say they have trouble driving at night I tell them I will be happy to drive you, my vision is so much better since I had eye surgery with Dr. Columbus. I have no regrets other than I wish I had done it sooner.

My experience at Columbus Lasik vision was nothing short of outstanding. Dr. Bob Columbus, who did my post-op, took the time to explain the surgery and what to expect going forward. I traveled from Binghamton , NY to Philadelphia for the surgery and it was well worth it. I would highly recommend Columbus Lasik Vision to anyone looking to have eye surgery - my only regret is not having done the surgery sooner because I am loving life glasses free!
