Dr Cooney is the Best of the Best!! He is very professional and knowledgeable. He will answer all your questions and concerns. If you want the best then chose Dr Cooney. I had a left shoulder replacement and it was a great success. I was back to full use in no time. There's no other rating for Dr Cooney but a 5+++. He's the best!!

Dr. Cooney reattached my torn bicep to my forearm in 2012 and I had a fast and complete recovery. Eight years later, I tore my other bicep and had him repair it as well. Again, the surgery was successful, and I was back to living my life in full after a normal recovery period. Both experiences exceeded my expectations as Dr. Cooney and staff held my best interests at heart. Everyone in the office was very pleasant and they cared about how I was feeling while working to get me repaired and recovered. I am thankful to have worked with the professional staff at Front Range Orthopedics. Prior to going to Dr Cooney’s office, I already knew the bad news that It was 99% that I needed a shoulder replacement, so of course I was not looking forward to going. I am in the medical field, so I am a tough critic. My experience was actually excellent. The office staff were very professional, the waiting area was “Covid Safe”. The staff brought us to the back rooms, quickly so we could wait in our room instead of the waiting area. Most importantly, Dr Cooney was exactly what I wanted in a surgeon. Dr Cooney was very professional and thoughtful. He kept apologizing and explained why I had to wait for him. He didn’t really need to apologize as I have waited a lot longer at different medical professionals offices. We discussed all my options, he listened to my questions, and helped me come up with a plan that made the most sense for me at this time.

I walked into Dr Cooney’s office on crutches, painful knee joint and swelling yesterday. Today I can walk on my own, quite a relief. We discussed options for future treatments if needed. A very thorough exam.

Love having Dr Cooney take care of my rotator cuff. He’s always helpful and easy to talk to.
