Dr. William Harvey Cooper, MD

I went into the urgent care and went home still feeling itchy. He said I had a peanut allergy when I had a reaction to the flu shot.

He talked a lot about his kids - he has enormous pictures of them, but didn't address our concerns about dementia and what could be done about it. Examination of pt was at best cursory and he had not reviewed he history. We had to remind him repeatedly.

There are several big issues with Dr. Cooper. First, he hands you a checklist, and reviews it, but does not listen when you give details. Indeed he often cuts me off. Second, he is extremly conservative in his treatment and does not consider new findings or possibilities. It is more along the "I've always done it this way." practice. Third, he does not do research when you present him with new issues. I asked him to test my testosterone levels which came in low. he simply wrote "I don't know the significance of this" on the lab and did no further research.
