Dr. William Harold Coulter, MD

Dr. Coulter was our family eye doctor for many many years, but we finally had to stop seeing him because his office manager was impossible to deal with. The billing was frequently incorrect, even to the point where they sent a "bill" to a collection agency even though we had always paid promptly. After telling me it would be removed from collections, I continued to get the same bill for months, and it showed up on my credit rating as well. In addition, the office manager was rude and irritable beyond anything I have ever experienced, not just once or twice but almost every time I called. The day she kept loudly using the "F" word in the background while I tried to make an appointment made it the last appointment for me. I was terribly sorry to stop seeing Dr. Coulter, who is a wonderful doctor and a wonderful person, but it just wasn't worth dealing with the repeated surliness and rudeness of the office person, or the repeated billing errors. Even the office cat didn't make up… for it.

He is smart and funny and wise with many years of wisdom to use to the patients advantage, he is kind and tells great jokes, he is prompt and takes time with us, his staff is terrific and they sometimes have a fabulous office cat to paly with. Above all he knows what he is doing and takes excellent care of us.
