Dr. Cullen was excellent. He spent time with me and was very thorough!

Insensitive to patient needs.

This doctor is horrible. Trust me he doesn't even stay with you 2 minutes. He will come and ask you what happened? Then you will tell him what's going on and he will give you a referral paper for specialist and he will be disappeared. Don't even go there. Waste of money and time

A good physician with excellent bedside manner

This review goes to the physician, William Cullen, whom I am switching from. This doctor saw me once and then a year later. in August. Two days after the second physical he sent me a letter which in one sentence said I had diabetes and that I was to call for an appointment. When I came in this doctor spent FIVE minutes with me and went on to his next patient. I was devastated by this news but only wanted his understanding not his compassion, if he has it. I had a sleep apnea study sent to him and he did not call me but did have a company contact me at work, much to my surprise--no discussion, not even a voice mail from him, telling me this would happen. I had to get a surgery pre-op done today for hand surgery and the doctor's nurse when I told her what a shock it was to discover this life altering news, advised me to speak with the doctor since I had to tell him the last time I saw him about the hand problems I was experiencing as he was walking down a hall--he apparently had… no time to stop for me to listen. I told him how disappointed I was that he spent so little time with me discussing my diabetes onset and that I didn't feel I comfortable recommending him to others He replied that he could tell from the moment he saw me that I was a difficult patient. He said I was at fault for not taking care of myself for so long (I have two special needs adopted girls). He said I was irresponsible and that I made excuses--daughter broke the bed so I can't sleep in it right now--and that I lay blame on others--him (?). He said I will be dead if I don't use the CPAP. He asked why I came back and i said I wanted to complete the long line of doctor visits (15 in 6 weeks with various specialists) under his guidance but that I was looking at other GPs. He told me I had my turn to speak and that I could not speak anymore, that I would have to listen to him. He told me that is "who I am" and that if I didn't like it I should find another doctor.

Dr. R. Cullens is a very dedicated doctors, he shows great concern for his patients and he is very easy to talk to. He will be missed by leaving Physisicans Associates. Most of us live in the Silver Spring, Bethesda area, so by he leaving for Babltimore is just very difficult to deal with. But I do wish him success wherever he goes.

I had a upper respiratory infection - he didn't read my chart, didn't look in my mouth, nose or ears. Spent about 3 minutes with me. Gave me an antibiotic I know I am immune to. Did not listen to me. Stay AWAY!

Didn't seem to be able to understand that I was in pain. Never listened to me and just didn't seem to care at all about me. Several times he gave me medicines with significant side effects without mentioning the side effects.

worst doctor ever... rude and unprofessional...stay away from him
