Dr. William Daniel Curran, MD

We always dread going to this office. Every office visit, no matter the time, requires us to clear our calendar for the day. We know it will take a minimum of three hours. We have been forgotten about twice, once in the while waiting an hour and a half to be called back by someone that canceled our appointment AFTER we had checked in and paid. Apparently "the file had been moved to an incorrect pile." And once while sitting in the exam room for over an hour. On both occasions I had inquired multiple times about the hold up. We were pushed back to the last appointment on both occasions because he was overbooked. You would think they would want to prioritize us to the top of the list since it was their mistake, but no. They didn't want the other appointments to fall behind more. We received an apology both times for having to spend close to four hours there. Every other time has ranged from 2-3 hours. Most of the time is sitting in the exam room prior to and after seeing the doctor. As… for the doctor... Dr. Curran never spends an appropriate amount of time on the examination. He never allows time to go over new issues, never asks about any concerns, and always rushes to exit the room before answering any questions. He leaves you hanging causing post exam phone calls which are nearly impossible to get answered. All calls are ridiculous to get through requiring very long hold times and return calls rarely happen. We have asked about changing providers and were told it has to be approved. They usually don't allow it. There are not enough doctors that specialize in what we need in this area, so we feel stuck.

I was hospitalized for a lung problem that was finally diagnosed as something fairy rare. Dr. Curran did an excellent job of working with my internal medicine doctor to find the problem and order appropriate treatment. Thanks Dr . Curran! kudos to you!
