Dr. William Glendon Curtis, MD

Dr. Curtis is an excellent physician. He loves his work and it shows from the minute he greets you until he wraps up the visit. His knowledge base is vast and he treats you as if you were his own family. If all physicians could arise to his level of excellence, we’d all be far better off. Keep up the good work, Dr. Curtis.

I have been a patient of Dr. Curtis' prior to his Focus Direct practice until present. I have several health issues and he has been extremely helpful to me. He never hesitates in referring me to a specialist when needed with good results. He constantly researches new methods and trends and passes them on to me. If I follow his recommendations the results are usually positive and if not we go back to try something else. His beside manner is quite friendly and positive. His staff is the best--Melissa and Sylvia are tops. I can always get a same-day appointment--I can be in Houston at 9:00 a.m. and call and get an appointment by the time I arrive home after 1:00 pm. When I need refills on prescriptions, if I call the office early in the morning (by 9:00 a.m.) I will have them filled by end of the day. I did not get to see Dr. Curtis because it was Saturday, but I did see his associate Dr. Guevara who in all aspects mirrors Dr. Curtis except they are different individuals, but… just as competent. I recommend them both highly!

Diagnosed me with cancer just by looking at a CT Scan, thankfully it was the wrong diagnosis. Another problem with this practice, make an appointment with the doctor, show up and is scheduled with the PA. A physician assistant is not a doctor!

I just saw Dr. Curtis for the first time. His office staff were excellent. Waiting time was less than 10 minutes. The doctor was friendly, interested in my problem, spent lots of time asking me questions and answering all of my questions. His bedside manner was wonderful, very caring!! I would recommend him highly!
