Dr. William A Dabbert

After graduating from UNMC College of Dentistry, I served as a dentist in the United States Navy. My wife Natalie and I spent four wonderful years at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina -- working with the best men and women America has to offer. During that time, I had the opportunity to learn from some of the top dentists and surgeons in America. Since then, I have been in private practice in Weeping Water. In May of 2009, I partnered with Dr. William Dabbert and together, we purchased Dr. William F. Baeder's dental practice in Omaha. Since then, we have been splitting our time between the two offices. Our goal is to provide top-quality dentistry in a relaxed, pain-free environment.
My main focus is the well-being of my patients -- promoting preventative care and educating patients on the fine points of dental health. I attend several continuing-education courses each year to stay current on the latest advances in dentistry. This helps me provide the best care for my patients.
I enjoy …living in La Vista with Natalie and our two sons, Nicholas and Collin. My interests are golfing, hunting, Husker football, and (of course) spending quality time with my family.
About William A. Dabbert, DDS:
I was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. After graduating from Lincoln East High School, I attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
While at Nebraska, I was a five-year member of the Husker Football program as part of their walk-on program, playing tight end. In addition to playing for the Huskers, I was active in National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Teammates, and the Husker Outreach Program -- where we spent time volunteering at schools, retirement communities, and hospitals.
I graduated from UNL with distinction in 2002 with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Business. I attended dental school in Lincoln at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry.
While in dental school, I was active in the Christian Medical Dental Association and several Dental Day outreach activities, where we provided free dental services to children in need. I graduated with high distinction in 2007, and was invited into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society.
I have previously worked as an associate dentist in Lincoln for two years and as a dentist at Peoples Health Center in Lincoln, which is a public clinic for patients with low income and/or no insurance.
I have been married since 2005 to my beautiful wife Lindsey. In February of 2007 our son, Carter, was born. In September 2010, we welcomed our daughter, Olivia. Our family is rounded out with our dog Mazy, who is a Vizsla.
My free time is mostly spent with my family, but I also enjoy many types of sports and outdoor activities. I'm an avid fan of Husker athletics (especially football!). I enjoy working out, golf, hunting/fishing, and skiing (both water and snow).
