"This NP took me off of Klonopin without a taper because I was doing so well. The abrupt stopping caused me to go into a severe withdrawal. This was not addressed by this office until after I was forced to go to ER 2 weeks into the withdrawal and they were forced to see me for follow up. This has left me with neurological and psychological problems that have led to being on disability permanently. Had he put me back on the medication as soon as the withdrawal started and done a slow taper, I would still be a person working a fulltime job and contributing to society. Unfortunately, I was unable to regain my faculties in the time limit specified to sue for malpractice. I did file complaints with the state licensing board, hospital and with this offices manager. Obviously, he is still practicing because as a recipient of mental health services their story will supersede yours. Would not send my dead dog to see this "practitioner"."
