He then obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Georgetown Dental School.

He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, New Jersey Dental Association, Union County Dental Association, North Jersey Implant Group Study Club and New Jersey Study Club for Interdisciplinary Dentistry.
To give back to his community, Dr. Derkasch volunteers with the Smile Train organization and participates in the Susan G. Komen Cancer Research Relay for Life.
In his personal life, …he has been married to his wife, Roseann, for 22 years, and is the father of three children, Courtney, Alexa and Liam. Dr. Derkasch enjoys a number of outdoor activities with his family, including skiing, biking, rafting, swimming, diving and karate.
