I had my impacted wisdom teeth removed here just over 6 years ago now. I think the fact that I am still traumatized/affected by this procedure speaks volumes. I got this surgery when I was 17 years old, so maybe the doctors thought informed consent was not necessary for a child, but I was not properly explained what would happen up to and during surgury/how to care for myself post surgery. After I woke up from surgery, I was still heavily feeling the effects of the drugs I was out on and this was the only time post-surgery care was explained to me (when I was on their heavy medication, unable to recall any details of the conversation). Following surgery, I cared for the wounds in my mouth to the best of my and my mother's ability, but there was still some problems with the healing process. I had large scarring all on the inside of my mouth that kept getting caught in my bite, so there is now scar tissue in my cheeks that gets chewed up because it is right where my teeth meet each other… on the side of my mouth. I still have this problem today. Additionally, there was a flap of guns that was loose in my mouth and causing a lot of discomfort. Lastly, the thing that made me go back to see the surgeon almost a month after my surgery, is my left cheek swelled up randomly overnight and it appeared to be swollen and infected right near an incision from the surgery. We returned to the medical office and explained the issues of my scarring, the gum flap, and the infection. They were unwilling to address any of my concerns and even went as far as to say that my swollen cheek was not infected. Immediately after leaving doctor Dobbins office I went to my dentist to see if there was any way that they would be willing to help. My dentist said that my cheek was most definitely infected and she was amazed that the other office denied this fact. If you are looking for quality care with your best interest in mind, you might look elsewhere. If you have any problems post-op, the office will not care about your issues regardless of whose fault it is. Personally, I'd much rather have a medical professional work on me who is concerned with my health and my needs, not filling their wallet with my insurance money.

I received a dental implant from Dr Dobbin and could not have received better care. Staff was fabulous .. Dr Dobbin was professional and courteous at all times.

I had my wisdom teeth taken out. Very good procedure. Incredible staff. Very friendly people and atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Dr Dobbin was very informative in the consult and explained everything to me that would be happening in the few surgeries for my 3 implants. He and his staff made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process. Best part was that I was almost pain free the night after the surgery (with the addition of only a couple aspirin lol). I would highly recommend him!
