Dr. William Daniel Doty, MD

Seems like a nice doctor, but the fact that I had to wait for one hour (with my elderly father who had the appointment), only to be told that they doctor would be another hour and half was too much. The staff who informed us (remember we had been waiting an HOUR already) that he had just started his appointments was nice enough, but really? It exhausts my father to get ready and go out to appointments to begin with, having to wait for HOURS to just too inconsiderate.

I've known Dr Doty for over 12 years. Fortunately, I've been able to gather a keen perspective of his knowledge and bedside manner while working as an ICU nurse. Frankly, there are many good cardiologists in the area- however, IMO he is tops (and I see a lot of them). What I like most about him is that he's not only a doctor, but also a teacher. He frequently spends time explaining his rationale for his patients' treatments, medications and tests. In addition, Dr Doty is always well liked and respected by my co-workers. I've sent two of my friends to him and I have always said, "if I ever needed a cardiologist- he's my man!". Lo and behold, I felt that I needed one recently and of course, I went to see Dr Doty. I'm still in the process of testing but, nonetheless, I couldn't be more satisfied with the care I've recieved thus far.

I have been to several Cardiologists in the Okaloosa area and I can not say enough Good things about him and his staff. He spends time and truly listens. Great staff very friendly and Courteous. I trust Dr. Doty at every level and would not go to another Cardiologist.
