Dr. William Patrick Duff, MD

As a registered nurse, I was extremely concerned about my high risk pregnancy so of course I was on a mission to find a specialist who is exceptional . I asked every nurse I knew who specialized in Women's health, and every one of them told me that Dr Duff is the best!. I was thrilled when he accepted me as a patient, as I know he is extremely busy. My entire OB experience, follow up, and (years later) GYN surgery, has been nothing short of outstanding. If you are looking for the best in OB/GYN care, or need a 2nd opinion for a procedure, you don't need to look any further. Dr Duff really is the best in his field.

I have Dr. Duff to thank for my child making it into this world. When my pregnancy became high risk at 12 weeks I was referred to him. That was the best thing that could have happened to me. For the remainder of my pregnancy he took every precaution to make sure I carried my baby to term. He always took time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. I spent 5 months on bed rest and 6 weeks in the hospital. He held my hand every step of the way. My family will be forever grateful to him.

Took plenty of time with me to insure I understood my visit with him. He's very kind and easy to talk to.

Dr.Duff is very kind and patient and professional. I wish all of the doctors I've had were this understanding and willing to listen. It is difficult to schedule an appt. with him because he is very busy, but he always answers my emails and whenever I had complications he always made time in his schedule to see me. The only downside is that if you plan to deiver naturally the chances that he will be the on call doctor that day are very slim.

Dr. Duff is completely incompetent. He misdiagnosed my wife's condition during pregnancy. When we got the correct diagnosis from an out of state physician, he reacted unprofessionally. We later found out that the staff at Shands also has a very poor opinion on Dr. Duff's abilities as an obstetrician. Avoid this doctor at all cost.
