Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:As a child I always admired members of the healthcare professions. I was drawn to their passion, knowledge, and dedication. I quickly realized how rewarding a career in medicine can be. And while healthcare has evolved tremendously from those early days of my career, the fundamentals of caring for patients remains the same.What I want my patients to know about me:One of the most rewarding aspects of my career is working with patients to uncover the cause of their symptoms. I enjoy the interaction that takes place during this process, particularly as we collaborate to develop an optimal treatment plan.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:Outside the workplace you might find me on the Heritage Rail Trail or hiking with my dogs at Lake Redman or Lake Williams. The perfect day might include a challenging bike ride through York or Adams County and conclude by sharing a tasty meal with good friends as we plan for an upcoming adventure or travel …to a new destination.
