Dr. William Elton Fitts, MD

Almost 17 years, I met Dr Fitts. Me and my daughter were just sitting here talking and she wanted to know about my experience when she was born. We sat here talking and I couldn't help but cry thinking about how wonderful that day was. Dr Fitts was always so great from the first Dr visit til the day he left his practice in Dyersburg Tennessee. If he ever reads this, I just wanted to tell him Thank you. Thank you for giving me the most beautiful gift I've ever received. Thank you for being such a great Dr and always making me feel so comfortable. You're the best!!! I recommend anyone with the opportunity, to make Dr Fitts their doctor. <3 Jennifer Viar

I wanted to go back to school and become a medical transcriptionist. In order to do this, I needed a referral from a physician. Dr. Fitts is my friend and said he would give me the referral I needed. I got into the school I wanted and my career flourished. I was lead transcriptionist when I retired. Thank you, Dr. Fitts, for helping me accomplish a good career and a good life.

I must say, I’ve never been to this particular practice in Oregon. However, it isn’t because I didn’t try! All the way from Memphis, TN., I wanted to travel to Oregon just to be treated by Dr. Fitts. He thought I was too far and should seek care closer to home. I was devastated when he left his TN practice. I lived with so much pain before Dr. Fitts because no one could figure out what was wrong with me! They all (15 or more Doctors) would treat the symptoms as they arose and that’s it! When I met Dr. Fitts the very first time, he put me into the hospital immediately and got my pain under control. He followed up with surgery the next morning and I NEVER LOOKED BACK! There were many surgeries after that, but eventually, the many led to NONE! He came into pre-op one time and said “well I think we know what your condition is” and he handed me a piece of paper he had printed, it said ”hidradenitis suppurativa”. It was clearly the results of his research to find out what was wrong. He… done this just to make my life better. I have NEVER met a doctor with better bedside manners and he ALWAYS has a smile! Dr. Fitts changed my life! He gave me the ability to live normal again. I cannot say enough good about this man, both as a human and as my doctor. Let me add this, if you are within 200 miles of Dr. Fitts and you use any other doctor, your sadly missing out. As I said earlier, I’d travel 2500 miles if he would let me!
