Dr. William Alfred Fortin

Dr. Fortin single-handedly brought the lives of my family’s last 4 generations back from the brink of death. He is the only reason I am here today. He is the living image of what proper and effective medicine is supposed to be. The world is a darker place now that he has retired, but his newfound culinary excellence gives my family and myself hope for a better tomorrow still.

Terrible bedside manner. Treated me disrespectfully for simply asking questions like what type of stroke did my father have and responded with oh are you in the medical field or did you attend google university? Very rude and constantly avoided talking to us as much as possible or would rush the conversation. My father suffered a second stroke within a week later and I’m inclined to say it was the lack of care from him and the neurologist on staff at royal oak Beaumont. I expect better from Beaumont and now that he is in Troy I have noticed the docs there are better.
