Dr. William Earl Fox, MD

I saw Dr. Fox for several months to a year or two. I cannot think of a better fit profession for him -- he has the perfect balance of medical knowledge, psychosocial skills, and just treating someone like a human being. For someone who struggles with chronic pain (an often difficult condition), he was never judgmental about the treatments I wanted to try, and always had plenty of suggestions himself. He is a kind, caring person. Another perk, is he offers PM hours (for those of you who have to work regular business hours.) He is out of pocket, but well worth the money.

I don't think I can remember a time when I was not worrying about someone or something and out of nowhere I hit bottom and had no idea how or why I got there. I was fortunate enough to be referred to Dr Fox. I highly recommend him. He is patient, caring and most important genuine . He will provide you with the tools you need ....help you to understand the whys but only you can make the changes necessary to help you live a healthy life.

He came highly recommended by my family Dr. One of the best physicians I have used in Charlottesville. As a psychiatrist specializing in older adults ( I'm 55) he takes the time to talk and understand your issues. If you're looking for a pill pusher, he's not the one.

Dr. Fox is the most human psychiatrist I have ever met. He doesn't rush, is very intelligent and caring, and is a true expert. He has helped me work through a very complex drug situation with great success. I'd highly recommend him.
