I went in with a suspected hernia and Dr. Friese took his time with me a listened to all my concerns. He sent me for a CT and said we'll decide where to go from there depending on the results. He said his staff would send in the orders to the imaging center and I'd get a call.Two weeks pass and I find out the CT orders were never sent in! I finally get the CT done only to wait two more weeks to have his office say they never got the results. Then I get a brief call from young lady who simply says their computer is down so they can't see the CT images, but the CT report is normal, have a nice day. I tell her I'm still in pain, what does Dr. Friese suggest we do next? Would the CT show if it's a muscle tear? Am I clear to resume normal or even strenuous activity? Flustered, she says she'll have him call me back. Three weeks and I still haven't heard anything. I've left a few voicemails too. But if the office manager is on vacation, the VM's don't get checked. I had high hopes… for getting some answers since Dr. F was so thorough. But 2+months and hundreds of dollars in deductibles later and I'm still in pain. Very disappointing.

Dr. Friese was very professional and knowledgeable. He told me everything he was doing as he was doing the surgery.

Wonderful doctor. Very thorough. Dr. Friese took his time to explain his diagnosis and care in a manner to which a non-medical person could understand. GREAT bedside manner, wonder follow up. I highly recommend if you need a general surgeon.

This doctor is very professional. He even takes the time to explain things to you as you go through surgery. I will be using him again if neddded. I would recommend him to anybody that needs a general surgeon.

I was very comfortable with Dr. Friese.He was very informative and did not make me feel like I was wasting his time. I really appreciated his professional opinion and his advise for my care involving another speciality. The staff at group was very patient oriented.Thank-you!
