Dr. William Clark Fuller, MD

In 1992, I was misdiagnosed at a local mental hospital as being Schizophrenic. My hallucinations/delusions/thoughts of suicide continued for two months until my husband transferred me to Charter Hospital in Sioux Falls where Dr. Fuller immediately correctly diagnosed me as Bi-polar Disordered and got me on the correct medications. For the last 19 years, he has patiently tried different medications on me since drowsiness has been an ongoing side effect for me. Under his care, I added a M.S. Degree in Sp. Ed. E/BD (with certifications also in S.L.D. and M.M.M.I.) to my B.S. Degree in El. Ed., finished raising my 1 year old son to adulthood, won four custody cases, had a 13 year successful marriage, planned the pregnancy and birth of my 10 year old daughter, and launched a teaching career. I believe Dr. Fuller has been instrumental in keeping me out of the mental hospital for the last 19 years. When I was first admitted to the mental hospital, I was sure I had lost my mind and I did not… think the terrifying hallucinations/delusions/suicidal thoughts would ever stop. I thank Dr, Fuller for giving me back my life. In conclusion, I highly recommend Dr. Fuller and think it is of utmost importance to take the medications he prescribes.

Several years ago I went through severe depression. Had it not been for Dr. Fuller I wouldn't be alive today!! I know there were times I probably gave him a great deal of grief and I sincerely apologize for that!! He is in my eyes the best Doctor that ever lived!! A very caring and compassionate man!! It took me several years to get "my act" together but I am doing great now and very successful thanks to him!!
