Dr. William Ronald Gaertner, MD

He is greedy and wanting to have as many patients as possible without really taking care of any of them. I would go somewhere else. He didn’t take the time before prescribing meds and the small amount of face time you do get with him, he makes you feel worse.

The medications Gaertner, put me on caused my mental problems. End of story.

Rudest Dr I ever encountered. Was insulting about my appearance and listened to nothing I had to say.

This is the worst psychiatrist I have ever been tested by. He egotistical, uncaring and cold.

The person who schedules appointments and handles refill requests is extremely unreliable. Once I get an appointment, there is a 50/50 likelihood it will get cancelled and rescheduled. Once there, they are always running quite late. That being said, the staff at the Richmond office is very nice, and Dr. Gaertner, when I can get to see him, is pleasant and helpful.

From the front desk, to the management, to the doctors this place is a joke. Front desk is rude and uncaring, management has no clue what's going on, and the doctors don't even look twice at you. Throw you a prescription (even if it's not helping) and shove you out the door.

Finally someone who took there time.

Dr. Gaertner is an excellent Psychiatrist. He has an excellent memory and really knows what he is doing. In my eyes he is the best in the business.

I have been a patient with Dr Gaertner after my first hospitalization at the age of 24. At one point I had to see an assistant for a while but was fortunate to go back to Dr Gaertner. He is wonderful. He always listens and helps with my meds until they are just right. I don't want any other doctor

Dr. Gaertner did a phenomenal job with our teenager. He worked with her very patiently to tweek her medicine to just the right dose. He encouraged phone calls inbetween visits to ensure she had the care she needed. He is very busy, so the wait for an appointment can be long, but we noticed it was better than in the beginning of our time with him. On the flip side, we never felt rushed during our appointment.
