Dr. William John Giakas, MD

He is a excellent doctor of mine. He always refills my medication on time, he cares about his patients, I would recommend him to others who has mental problems. Im happy to have him as my doctor. I been his patient almost six years. He encourages me with college he's awesome.

I have used Dr. Giakas and his associates for a family member a few years ago with tremendous results concerning dementia health issues. Recently, when another family member was in crisis and hospitalized, I remembered what a fantastic turn-around we had with that first elderly family member and called the office in hopes to be seen for this latest elderly family member. Cindy immediately had me come in and started the paper work so our loved one could be seen as soon as we could get a hospital release. I can not emphasize the incredible support she provided to us, both professionally and compassionately. She kept us informed of cancellations as they came up, as we dealt with changing hospital release dates, all in hopes to get family member in as soon as possible. Their newest patient left after the first visit with all apprehensions aside. Thank you Cindy and Angie for your warmth, compassion and flexibility! We would love to give your entire office a 10!

I've not seen Dr Giakis but I am a patient in his practice. I see a nurse practitioner and a therapist and am happy with their treatment of me. Some of the office staff could improve their interactions with patients.

Your money is the patient, you're just there as a formality. Most uncaring and unprofessional Psych there is. Avoid at all costs.

One of the best DR i have ever seen

I found this dr and his staff rude. Thought mental health employees were to be kind and treat ppl with mental health genttly. This doctor nor his staff did that at all... looking for new doctor!

The receptionists clearly don't get along. They contradict each other. Their tone is rude. Called for appointment, told me they would have to find the chart. Didn't get a call back. I called back five days later. They seem very focused on money. Needed to switch an appointment due to illness--They gave me 3rd degree and tried to tell me I needed over 48 hours notice or I had to pay. One time they left a message on my answering machine concerning another patient!! oops

This guy had my sister on so much medication, she couldn't even hold her head up. When we (the family) went in to complain, he said (very snotty), " What is THIS? A family consultation?" We quickly ushered my sister out of the office and never took her back. He spent a lot of time badmouthing the Janet Wattles Center (which is now Rosecrans). We took her to there and were told he runs through people's money, then refuses to see them anymore. A real jerk who is not interested on helping people at all. My sister has been with Rosecrans for 20 years now and they have done everything they can for her, from crisis management to finding her housing. Giakis does not deserve to have "Dr." In front of his name.
