William J. Gill, PA-C

John Gill, PA-C, is a family medicine provider with more than 45 years of experience, with 26 of those years at AdventHealth Family Medicine Wauchula. As one of the first physician assistants licensed to practice in Florida, John has extensive experience in sports medicine and primary care. He provides health care for patients ages two months and older, and speaks both English and Spanish.

After serving 40 years in uniform, John retired from the Army National Guard as a Colonel and recipient of the Purple Heart. He was recalled to active duty several times and has had multiple overseas assignments, serving most of his career in special forces.

When he isn't working with patients, John's personal interests include staying involved in improving rural health, ensuring veterans get recognized for their service and helping to shape national health policy.
