Dr. William Lloyd Glover, MD

I had been seeing Dr. Glover since I was diagnosed with Bladder cancer. Every single visit, he took care of me, explained everything in detail, and answered any questions I had. Over the course of 5 years, he made an extra effort to call me back after I had multiple surgeries to make sure I was doing good, he even met me after hours to write me a prescription once. He has always gone out of his way, even after office hours to take care of me. An EXCELLENT doctor.

I was new grad RN,BSN who saw Dr Glover in 1980 when we worked together at commonwealth doctors hospital in Va. He told me I had interstitial cystitis. In his office with no nurse present to chaperon Dr. Glover placed a "sound" which is like a steel knife into my urethra. It was the most excruciating pain I have ever felt. After that he did a breast exam for some reason and asked me out on a date. I got up and left as soon as possible. Later at the nurses station at a later date he hit me on my butt out in the open. I plan to report him to the medical board for sexual abuse as this is just the beginning of my story with this "man." We met Dr Glover today and he was so helpful. He received us so kindly and all of his office staff were so helpful and professional, specially Beth, his office manager was so kind and gave us discount on our consultation fee as well as free medications. We will never forget this appointment and will suggest every friend to visit this office if they need a great Urology team.

Was hospitalized with Kidney Stones. He was rude and very confused. After two months of treatment and four procedures, I finally got a second opinion. My stones were resolved within a week. He was two hours late for one surgery, even the nurses could sense he was not very good. ordered several X Rays when a CAT Scan would have been better...he seems to live off of medicare patients who do not know any better..after my last surgery with him, he never bothered to brief my wife in the waiting room nor did i ever get a follow up call...

Horrible doctor. Messed up my husband's kidney stone surgery which resulted in more pain and ER visits. ER staff agreed that it was not done correctly. Also misdiagnosed another patient with cancer and told her to not report it to insurance company. He is bordering on incompetency.

The doctor came to see me at the imaging lab where I was getting CT scan for kidney stone, then led me over to his office (which was closed) to write Rx. I found his manner to be friendly and professional.

Dr. Glover was recommended to me while in the hospital. I had just moved to NoVa and two days later found myself in the hospital. Prior to moving here I knew I needed a urologist so my cousin found one from coworkers recommendations. After entering the hospital I was told by my now new internist that I needed to see a urologist before leaving the hospital. Dr. Glover came to see me and was nice at first but when he saw the other urologist name on a piece of paper that my cousin had found for me he proceeded to scold me about his time and wanted to know who I wanted to see, him or the other doctor. The nurse even mentioned how unprofessional and unnecessary his behavior was. I've never been treated so rudely. I had no idea I would end up in the hospital and had no control over who was recommended to me while there. In the hospital you want someone to help you and be kind and encouraging, Dr. Glover wasn't. You do not want to see Dr. Glover when you are struggling to get well. … Just say no to Dr. Glover.

Dr. Glover has treated both myself and my wife for urological issues and we both feel that we received the best of care from him. He is a very warm, professional person.
