This office dose not like to contact patience, we have to call them and they make us feel like we are bothering them. If they need to go to lunch and you are in their office they tell you to call the back for information in regards of surgery schedule because their lunch time is way more important. I fell bad for this doctor because he's staff is terrible.

When I went for my consultation with Dr. Goldstein about my cataracts he told me about the Crystalens. He said they would eliminate my need for glasses or contacts, except for maybe the first 6 months to a year I may need a light pair of readers for tiny print. When he did my left eye my far vision was not perfect, but improved greatly. Only problem it really hurt, but just when I blinked, for several weeks. Then 2 weeks later he did my right eye. Although it did not hurt as much, the light sensitivity was just awful. I had to basically keep all my shades down in my house and even lights were terrible. I basically stayed in the house, except for going to work for a couple weeks the sensitivity was so bad. And my vision past arms length is terribly blurry. Now I am told that nothing can be done until 3 months after the surgery. And I am once again wearing contact for my far vision and reading glasses. After spending $9.000.00 this is not what I expected.

Dr. Goldstein did my LASIK years ago, and recently did my cataract surgery. His surgeries are flawless! And his office staff is the best, friendly and great service

The best eye doctor in SE Michigan. He takes his time and answers all questions (and I had LOT of them), and his staff is really caring too.

Be ware of massive billing issues at this office. Dr. Goldstein used to be a Doctor I recommended to everyone. Sadly, over the years of being a patient I have noticed numerous issues. 1. They are overbooking themselves and people are always waiting for a minimum of an hour. 2. The office manager is really the one who is in charge, she doesn't care what the doctor tells you or what happened when you were there- she will bill you according to what she thinks is right. Now, I agree doctors are not billers, but Doctor GOLDSTEIN specifically told me I would only be charged for a general doctor visit, even after he used a tweezer to simply flip my eyelid and remove a tiny partical. I asked if there would be any other charges and he said NO. A week later I was billed for an office visit and a procedure. It was outrageous and while we were discussing the bill with the office manager to understand why we were charged this, she had them add on a late fee of $7. She also told us we were lucky we… weren't charged more. Anyhow, we paid the bills. Then we received a second late notice and additional $7 charge?!? So I call and she has to look for our check. Says sorry and removes the one $7 charge. I asked if she could remove the first $7 charge since there was obviously an issue with the Doctor telling me it would only be a doc visit charge and it wasn't. We paid both charges, I just wanted her to remove any late fees. She said absolutely not. At this point I told her I was super dissatisfied with her attitude and the way this office was handling this. Over $7?!? My entire family goes there, had lasik through him (by the way he shouldn't have done lasik on me at the young age it was- it didn't even work). So what happens? They discharged me from their office. Over $7. The best part is- they paid over $6 to send me a letter through certified mail.!! Did they honestly think I was going to go back there anyhow? I feel bad for Doctor Goldstein- his practice deserves better management!

Dr. G is the best. Amazing doctor, skilled surgeon. My cataract surgery came out perfect!

The Dr. is always courteous and is, I feel, genuinely concerned with my eye health. He takes the time to explain any concerns I have and tell me what and why he is doing the test. The staff always explain the test results clearly.

It's a miracle...Dr. G gets an A+, did a great job on my cataract surgery. He put in the crystalens implant, and I can see so well...I don't think I have seen this well since I was a kid.
