Dr. William J. Gradishar, MD

He is the worst doctor in this universe. I came to him because I read his name was the best 27 oncologist doctors in Forbes news. I did a blunder to come to him for treatment and I believe because of his treatment my wife passed away. He failed to treat my wife and her life, my wife was 49 years old and physically fitand we were requesting to them so many times CT scan for my wife's Head, but he never ordered a CT scan of the brain, missed order key scans, didn’t read the test result before the visit, and didn’t take our concerns seriously so I constantly must advocate for my wife. My wife's breast cancer came back after 9 years. On October 11, 2022, my wife Had a CT scan after the CT scan doctor confirmed that My wife had stage 4 breast cancer. He started chemotherapy on November 14, 2023, with 9 years old medicine. After eight chemotherapies he ordered a CT scan of the stomach, then found out Chemotherapy was not working. We were asking them to test her stomach cancer earlier, but he… never listened. And during that period my wife's cancer spread in Lung. Please must avoid this doctor.

I am reading these negative reviews and am shocked, I have been going to Dr Gradishaw for many years. I find him to listen intently , and makes me feel quite comfortable, I think he is an asset to Northwestern.

Hey! Dr Gradishar are you still doing those painful exams when you are being mean and angry?

If he does not like you or your cancer decision he will make exam very painful!

FIND SOMEONE ELSE!!!

As a breast cancer survivor, a less than 5 minute first time establish appointment is not appropriate!

Worst appointment ever. He was rude, obviously annoyed, rough while examining me, and made me feel I was wasting his valuable time. " oh, just a few aches and pains?" More like pain that keeps me awake half the night, has me crying, nauseated, etc..... Think he would check a calcium level or order a bone scan? No........... I'm not going back. Time for a new oncologist. Bye bye Northwestern.

So happy I left my care at Northwestern and have been under care at University of Chicago. My first meeting with Dr. Gradishar, first he wanted to know why I was seeing him, second he told me I won't survive. Enough said.

Dr. Gradishar did not do thorough or adequate tests during her periodic visits, like a bone scan, which would have revealed that my Mother's cancer had returned, and metasticized to her spine. She died from complications of her cancer, not before suffering terribly.

I thought he was great...I was wrong! I thought he was a cut above the rest...I was wrong! I thought he would take care of my cancer needs...Boy was I mistaken!! He is rude abrupt and I am sorry I had him as my oncologist....Hopefully , I will never see him again!!!!!!!!!!
