Dr. William Samuel Grass, MD

I have been working with Dr. grass for 2 years now. He is a great doctor, one of the best I have come in contact with (and there has been many). He is very intelligent and knows what hes doing. Respectful. Honest. He has a great sense of humor and gives credit when credit is due. He will acknowledge when you are doing well and is not afraid to let you know when you are not. All in all he has done amazing things for myself and the rest of the community. He deserves great recognition.

Dr. Grass is very difficult to work with. He is pretentious, opinionated and treats his new patients with extreme skepticism. He is ultra-conservative when it comes to prescribing medication and because of his weird annoyances - bit of a germaphobe, don't shake his hand, cough or sneeze, don't wear sandals, DON'T crack your knuckles (REALLY hates that) - it makes for a very tenuous working environment. Unfortunately he is one of the few doctors in the area with prescribing powers for Suboxone so patients looking for this type of treatment are forced to deal with his curt behavior and utter lack of any semblance of a sense of humor. His policies regarding missed appointments and fees are outrageous and unlike any other health professional I have ever met or heard of. He terminated our relationship after I had to reschedule an appointment and charged me $130 to write a two paragraph letter to my Probation Officer saying I had sought treatment. He also sent my termination notice through… certified mail and then billed me for the charges. Unfortunately the demand for his services is very high in my area and he will most likely continue to operate in whatever fashion he chooses and continue to make a very decent living.
