Dr. William Douglas Gregorie IV, MD

I went to the ER with chest pains. I was assessed and was not having a heart attack. A doctor spoke with me, I assume it was Dr. Gregorie, for a short time. I didn't see him again. I later received a bill for $1,180. His billing department is over seas and will not give me a justification for such a high bill. My cardiologist, who spent more time with me, only charged me about $380. He may be a good doctor but he will not treat me again.

I saw this physician when I went to the ER for a brown recluse spider bite. I was not provided any information regarding my insurance not being accepted by this Dr. The billing company he is using is also running a side scam. I have given my SSN, home address and DOB to scammers in India all for the sake of a surprise medical bill for $1200. All he did was type my symptoms into a computer and gave me medicine based on what popped up. Total time spent was 10 minutes together in triage. He needs to be made aware that his ethics are poor and his billing provider is a scam!
