Dr. William John Gries, MD

Dr. Gries is a very caring doctor who actually listens to what you have to say. I have been with him for approximately 20 years and I hope to with him a good many more. He is really outstanding.

I am a 54 year old woman with some mild heart disease and dr Gries is, by far, my favorite doctor. Takes the time to really listen and talk to me and answer questions. Highly recommend

Had a great experience first time with the doctor. Second time was a 1pm appointment with the nurse for which I arrived a few minutes early. The receptionist told one man, in a very stern voice, who had a 1pm appt with the doctor, and arrived at 1:15 that he was late, and had to reschedule. He said, " I was lost as they told me to go to the wrong place, I was in the bld before 1pm!" she checked with the doctor and said he could wait. By 1:30 the nurse did not come for me nor did the receptionist say one word to me about the nurse running late or being late or apologize for my wait or anything. I had to go back to the office and told her I was leaving. She said nothing and seemed to accept that and I left.

Good listener and figured out my problem

He takes the time to listen and customize your plan - not just a textbook doctor. I've seen several cardiologists in the past 25 years and he is by far the most educated and trustworthy. Dr. Gries asked some great questions in my first visit and he discovered a heart condition no other cardiologist ever bothered to notice. He also has a great bedside manner. I would recommend him to anyone.
