Dr. William Walter Hancock, MD

I met Dr. Hancock, through another doctor in town, I was new in the Tifton's area and I had a syncope episode at my medical office in Albany and I needed to have someone check to make sure I was ok, in order to return to work. I'm very nervous meeting new medical staff who takes care of my health, especially when most of my healthcare physicians R in Florida. This doctor was so kind, such a great listener and thoroughly invested in finding out why I passed out. He got me in for an echo, and the next day for another look in my heart. And he made me feel so relaxed, my trust was already won with his suggestions, and how he cared what happened to me. Being thankful, doesn't even cover my inner feelings. He's a Blessing come true, and I've work cardiac in Florida, for some great Doctors. So he's a gold star in my book. I do need a follow up visit, and hopefully I can get in soon. He made me feel so much better, no heart problems, except a tiny bit of " broken heart syndrome". But… he is the BEST!! HE'S really cares about you and even his staff is very quickly to get orders done and they are so very kind. The best team ever!!

Very happy with Dr. Hancock. Found my problem when no one else could.

I have been going to Dr. Hancock for a long time. I have always been treated with respect. Dr. Hancock can be blunt, he jokes a lot. But I am still here after several years be treated by him.

I don't get the bad reviews. I have never waited and have had nothing but great care from Dr. Hancock and his staff. Some people need to realize that cardiologists are often on call for emergencies and an appointment might get bumped now and then. That's life... literally for someone else possibly.

I called to see if he was on time and still had to wait 4 hours with an 88 yr old patient.

He is hateful and his office staff is terrible. The wrong heart medicine called in and then tried to lay blame on pt. We waited 3 hrs to be seen

Wonderful staff and Dr. Hancock is delightful. There was a long wait time, but I understand that emergencies can happen. I'm just glad that I wasn't the one that needed emergency treatment!+

Wait time is 3-4 hours long per visit. Office staff is very rude and will not call patients back. When Dr. Hancock first started his practice very concerned about pts. but now acts as if he doesnot care. Office called in wrong medicine and it was like oh well.
