Dr. William Steven Harden, MD

this guy is a disgrace, other post has Randy nailed shes a disgrace!! dumb as dirt! call backs no! wrong scrips, 1st shot i ever had that hurt for weeks. harden had a report of a mid brain tumor she had and wanted me to wait over the week end to share the horrible news he kept! i dragged it out of the assistant Pa and i dropped to the floor she died 7wks later. what a pig this man is. much more to follow, soon. my new project is to share this will all of redding, poster on my very noticeable car.

His medical assistant Randy is in the wrong profession. She doesn’t return calls, doesn’t follow up on referrals and, per the receptionist, gets lots of complaints from other patients who have had same difficulty with her. Why is she still there?? Why are we still there???

Came in to find out why I was so sick. He ordered a liver panel. I called his office and his nurse told me my liver enzymes were up and to quit drinking. I don't drink. Went to another Dr. who had me thoroughly tested. I had 3 viruses at once and was very sick. No sir, I'll never go back.

Every time I need a prescription refilled it is like pulling teeth. My pharmacy makes numerous requests. If I call to follow up the recording says if I call a second time it will be delayed even further. I am on several maintenance prescriptions for thyroid and diabetes. The staff's attitude really sucks.

Shouldn’t practice is afraid of malpractice because he is incompetent. Doesn’t listen to his patients and poor support staff.

Wanting to commend Dr. Harden on his compassion and kindness. He covered all the bases and seemed to know my file even though I am not his patient. Very thorough. The staff also were smiling and kind. Very nice experience overall. Bonnie Cox

Looks like my previous review was deleted. I am a new patient of this doctor. I found him not to be very caring. He couldn't wait to get out of the exam room. Wasn't interested in my history or examining me. Not one person smiled or acted friendly in any way. They acted like I was bothering them. Trust me...I am in search of another doctor. These people are in the wrong profession!!! Very uncaring.

I have been going to Dr. Harden since he began practicing here. He has always taken his time with me and answers all of my questions. He has only been kind and respectful to me and my husband . I don't understand why all of the negative reviews. On the other hand the office staff is EXTREMELY rude, curt, dismissive, discourteous and disrespectful. I could go on and on but I am sure you get the picture. If I had been treated this way on my first visit I would never have gone back, irregardless of how much I liked the doctor. The office help forgets they only have a job because of the patients who come in to see the doctors. If you want a call returned leave a message for the doctor's assistant, never with the office staff.

I don't feel as if he has time or cares... I explained a medication was going to cost me $206 and that my insurance suggested something similar and he said he wasn't a mind reader. I feel as if he gets angry if I ask him a question.

I've been going to Dr. Harden for several years now, and I am very happy with him. He's no nonsense, to the point, and does not waste my time. He has caught things that my previous doctor missed. He does listen to what I have to say, and he does care. I plan to keep going to Dr. Harden.
