Dr. William Dennis Harris, DO

Dr. doesn't look at his watch (or a clock) as he takes whatever time he needs to listen & accurately address my medical needs and concerns. He knows his style can sometimes run him behind, but I've seen him attend to all his patients in this manner. He is quick to consult a specialist when needed. He has a keen sense of humor & we make each other laugh. We once had a (friendly) bet to each loose 20 pounds; I kidded him when I won, but he smiled & said; actually he had won too. He's more than my Doc, he's a trusted friend.

I have been to about 18 different doctors in 6 different states over the past 25 years for recurring horrible respiratory problems. Nobody could figure out the problem and simply threw antibiotics at me. Dr. Harris figured it out after one visit. Confirmed it with lab tests on the second visit. I've never felt better than I do now. He truly cares about helping people, not just pushing pills and collecting insurance money.

He has been treating my mother for 2 yrs now. She has several medical issues, including Alz. One thing I love about him is he doesn't throw a bunch on meds at a problem. He isn't a pill pusher My mother knew what to say to get pain and sleeping pills from her former dr. Her OCD has gotten bad as the Alz progressed. She always thought she needed them when she didn't. He helped me show her that she really didn't need them. He really does care about his patients.

I received very poor care from him and his staff. Never did diagnose my problem even as symptoms continued to get worse. I took it upon myself to see specialist. He gave me no referrals for specialist. Because I needed to obtain copies of my records when seeing a specialists, I was able to read his notes from my office visits. The documentation was inaccurate in that it did not show what I had reported to the office or been obtained during my exam. Very poor Dr.
