Dr. William John Harvey, MD

Dr.Harvey has been my doctor for 18 years. He is absolutely wonderful, I can't say enough! His bedside manner now excellent, very attentive, knowledgeable and get back to you himself with results. I work in OBGYN and let me tell you, Dr. Harvey is one of the best!

Dr. Harvey has been my OB/Gyn for decades, through 2 miscarriages, 2 successful pregnancies, and menopause. Excellent listener, very attentive to making things physically and emotionally comfortable.

Dr. Harvey is thorough, caring, kind, experienced and professional. He Is incredibly knowledgeable and has a calming presence. He delivered two of our children and has been my doctor for years. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Harvey is the best OB in Rochester. Would never go anywhere else.

Made an apt with this doc; had to wait more than a month to get in to see him. Jumped through hoops for this appt. Address is 1000 Victor Pittsford Rod in Bushnell;s Basin, however it is actually 1000 Garnsey Rd. Called the office while trying to get to the apt to let them know I would be late as I was having difficulty finding the office (first time patient). When I got to his office (16 mins late) he refused to see me and said I needed to re-schedule. Not one person in the waiting room; appeared to be very quiet/slow. Big red sign that this is not the Doc for me. I don't need a doc that treats a new patient this way any more than he needs another patient. Obviously he is in it for the $$$ only.

This office (perhaps not Dr. Harvey, but one of his nurses) ordered a prescription for me that I am highly allergic to. Luckily I had the sense to call the drug company to ask them for the ingredients, before becoming sick enough to be hospitalized. THe office never told my Pharmacy that I am allergic to this medicine's main component. To top it all off, Dr. Harvey told me that I didn't need the medication anyway (after a $100copay!) THe staff never bothered to give me a blood test to determine whether I needed the drug to begin with, they just assumed I needed it because they give the same drugs to everyone with the similar problem, but they don't bother testing if you need each individual drug. Needless to say, I will never return. I do appreciate the Dr.'s and nurses kindness towards me, but this is something that I cannot ignore.

I have seen Dr Harvey for 10+ years including two pregnancy's. I can not say enough great things about him. His bedside manor is off the charts, his office staff is always excellent. Rountine yearly GYN appointments take 2-3 months to get in but if you have an issue you can always get in to see him the nurse practioner in a timely fashion. I would and have recommend Dr Harvey to everyone.
