Dr. William Barrett Haynos, MD

Dr Haynos is wonderful, maybe the best Dr I've had in my 78 years. He cares, he kind and attentive to your issues. He is a pleasure to visit.

As a surrogate in my third trimester, my OBGYN referred me to cardiology due to random near syncope & high heart rate episodes that happened multiple times a day, I was experiencing. As soon as Dr. Haynos entered the room, he seemed cold with his mannerisms. I told him my situation about being a surrogate and how the intended parents are from a different state, so I requested they were present in a phone call with the visit. He immediately denied me and told me there’s no reason to speak with the parents because “the baby is fine”.. even though my OBGYN specifically referred me to him, due to issues I was having within this pregnancy. It’s not just the way he denied me it’s how he explained why the parents “don’t need to be involved”. He didn’t even want to speak with them, he said the parents could call the OBGYN for updated results on my cardiology appointment. Apart from that, when he asked about my symptoms, he almost immediately interrupted me and wouldn’t let me finish with what… I was explaining. He also downplayed my anemia since it was “worse” last pregnancy. Dr Haynos made me feel like I was foolish for coming into his office, I felt like I was a waste of time. He lacked compassion and at the very least professionalism. His office has also had my test results back for over a week and have yet to reach out to me to go over them, once again making me feel like I am a waste of time to him. I was scheduled an Echocardiogram and unfortunately am canceling due to my experience with him.

Very considerate and understanding. Ask questions, and listened to answers. Very patient.
