after 30seconds of looking at paperwork there was a hugh sigh and then he opened door and said i was expecting someone very sickly (in other words you do not look good there can't be anything wrong with you). quickly looked at front of calves and said you need to wear ted stockings i already knew that but i was having other issues i wanted to discuss. he contined to talk and talk i could not get and edge in word wise. i had to cut him off to tell him about pain in the back of my thigh he quickly looked after told him i had had a pulmonary embolim a year an half ago (which he did not know about) and he quickly said thats why you have the pain i had to cut him off again to say my neurolorgist and i thought maybe had to do with my multiple sclerosis, he did not respond, and began to blah blah blah again and told me to wear ted stockings. so obvisously did not know that i have multiple sclerosis. he got up to leave looks at me and said could you stay home from work today, i said no. … he said again you should stay home from work and walked out with his pretty young resident that was with him. i was one hour late to the appointment, i got lost, i did not expect him to take me, the secretary told me they were unually slow that day and there would be no problem getting in (she was very pleasant person to deal with). so obvisouly he had plenty of time. on my paper they want to know what mediciation your on. it so happeded that i put down my antidpressants first, could it be that was the only thing he saw on the paperwork and his thought was oh she is depressed and feels sorry for herself and needs attention, he knew that there was nothing wrong with me, that explains when he walked in and said i thought i would be seeing someone sickly and later told me to be postive about wearing ted stockings when i did not have any complaints about wearing them in fact had been wearing them to work. a dr. should know you can't judge a person by there looks. he did not ask me any questions about my problem and quickly looked at my calves and when i asked him he looked at the back of my left thigh very quickly. i was not there for cosmetic reasons if he had listened and asked questions he would have known that. he was very degrading, i have seen a lots of dr.s and you can tell the type that are interested in there job and he wasn't. it is sad to think he made his diagnois before entering the room. serious or not serious i desevered some respect. i hope this does not happen to anyone else. it is really sad. i will be seeing someone else.
