I work with adults who are experiencing emotional overwhelm, complex life stress, or a sense that familiar ways of coping are no longer sufficient. Many of the individuals I see arrive at moments of transition—when symptoms, circumstances, or inner conflict call for both relief and deeper understanding. My approach integrates psychiatric care and psychotherapy, with attention to both symptom stabilization and the psychological meaning of what you are experiencing. Treatment is collaborative and paced thoughtfully, with care grounded in experienced clinical judgment, respect, and curiosity. Clinical Background I have worked as a nurse for 18 years and as a nurse practitioner for 12 of those years. My clinical experience includes emergency-trauma centers within LA County, Federally Qualified Health Centers, and academic research institutions. I have cared for individuals affected by HIV, practiced transgender and LGBTQ+ healthcare, and worked extensively with complex medical and …psychosocial presentations. I am fully bilingual and offer care in both English and Spanish.
