Dr. William M Herr is the oldest of ten children. He graduated high school as a valedictorian and was student body president for both his high school and Kings River College. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from Fresno State University. After owning and operating several successful businesses, he decided to go back to school to further his education.
He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. While in dental school, he volunteered at several non-profit organizations such as Union Gospel Mission and American Dental Association's Smiles for Kids to provide free dental care to those who otherwise could not afford it. He also volunteered in an outreach program to Cass Lake Indian Reservation in northern Minnesota to provide dental care to members of the reservation. Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Herr went on to work for an all-Medicaid dental clinic in southern …Minnesota for the underserved population for a year before deciding to move his family to Georgia. While starting out his practice in Auburn, Georgia, Dr. Herr also works full time for a dental group with multiple locations and specialties. Dr. Herr continues to attend numerous educational classes each year in order to provide his patients with the most current techniques, products and technology. Dr. Herr is a member of the American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, Minnesota Dental Association and soon to be Georgia Dental Association.
Dr. and Mrs. Herr have been happily married for almost twenty years. They both came from large families and share strong family values and a strong Christian faith. They have three children and are currently looking for a church home for their family. Dr. Herr's hobbies include: camping, golfing, and spending time with his family.
