Dr. William Charles Hilger, MD

Dr. Hilger is a kind and very professional man. He helped me in so many different ways. He was a wealth of knowledge and honesty tried to help me and my family. Mental health issues are not always the most beautiful thing to discuss over dinner but Dr. Hilger was my friend and understanding confidante. I hope he lives forever!

Was hard to understand him. He seemed to switch from thought to thought quickly. Didn't seem very caring during the visit. Wouldn't recommend for younger patients. Wish he would have been more interested in our situation.

I've visited Dr. Hilger a number of times during the past 13 years. He is a thoughtful, intelligent man with superior qualities in counseling, diagnosis and professionalism. The staff members in his office are also excellent. However, the people in the accounting department need more training.

I spent some time at the McKay-Dee behavioral health unit as an involuntary patient and Dr. Hilger was my psychiatrist during my stay. I was somewhat uncommunicative due to the fact that I was none to pleased about being there. Dr. Hilger was able to understand where I was coming from and give an accurate diagnosis even without my full participation.I really felt like he cared about me and wanted me to get the correct medication and treatment. We worked together to adjust my medication throughout my stay, he did not just throw pills at me and call out "next!"He is a very intelligent and insightful man and I would recommend him to those seeking treatment for ADHD and depression, or anyone who has had a previously negative experience with mental health professionals.
