Dr. William Elliott Hinkley, MD

Very poor doctor and I would give 0 stars if I could. There seems to be psychiatric problems and he appears to be extremely controlling, angry and belittling to his patients. He doesn’t listen to you and is poor with making the correct diagnosis. I couldn’t receive the medical equipment I needed because he refuses to sign paperwork needed for that. I would avoid this doctor at all cost. He shouldn’t be practicing.

He is abusive and bullying to pts. Been there 3 times and left in tears all 3 times. Doesn't listen to pt or family. I have a POA/Nurse, refused to talk to her even after seeing paperwork and told her to shut up when she asked a question. Last visit could not sit due to a wound that he would not even look at the week before, he refused to talk to me if I was standing and not sitting. Told him I hurt to bad to sit and he yelled at me and pushed and shoved me out of the office. Changes meds without expl. Refuses to give back paperwork he is to fill out. He is DANGEROUS and should not be practicing. He is also abusive to office staff and brings them to tears.. Reported to CHNE, DePaul and AMA. Office is filthy and disgusting. He came saying he would take over Dr. Cabral's pts, many went and many have left due to his rude, abusive and bullying behaviors. Basically if he can't make money off of you from echo's that you didn't need to making unnecessary appointments just to pick up… paperwork he has no use for you. Office staff from previous doctor quit due to witnessing the abuse of over 20 - 25 patients that she had worked with at the deceased doctors office. Rate - 0

I have been a patient of Dr. William Hinkley for many years. From time to time I have experienced his sarcasm and poor bedside manner. Today his lack of professionalism is the straw that broke the camels back. He doesn’t listen and walked out of the room and told me that I needed to calm down, when in fact he was yelling at me. I’m deeply dissatisfied with the service that I received today. His nurse is very professional and friendly, however, it’s time for Dr. Hinkley retire.

this man was has poor of a doctor as they come he thought he was God we barried his mistakes stay clear if you want good results in many visits at is ofiice he would not listen and was very belittling so inn closing we lost our beloved love one because he was a substandard doctor

This man is a my way or the highway kind of guy, I'm suffering back pain that paralyzed me and all he concerned himself with was telling me how it's my fault I'm in pain than concern for my pain. He walked away from me as I talked to him trying to receive information on possible remedies for my pain and had no interest in educating me on what was wrong. I've been forced to seek alternative pain relief, and diagnosing of my ailment, and couldn't have been more offended. His secretary is not up to par either, from me having to contact my own insurance company due to her inability to do her job, having to spell words for her like chiropractor, I would never advise person with genuine issues to see him, if you're a person who is a victim of their unprofessional practices I feel you're pain quite literally and hope the best for you.

I have been a patient for 3yrs and question Dr. Hinkley's professional ability. Appears he is more interested in scheduling unnecessary visits that are not required.

Dr. Hinkley is extremely professional, knowledgeable and respectful. He demonstrates a sincere concern.
