Dr Hixson is treating my dad for prostate cancer. 1. The staff is very friendly and kind 2. Dr Hixson is so good with my dad. He takes the time to explain things and is very patient when getting a bunch of questions thrown his way. He never makes us feel rushed. He has gone above and beyond to help my dad...even with other issues not related to his treatment...it is so refreshing to see a doctor care about the whole patient!

Almost done with my Radiation treatment there and I can say, he knows what he is doing, modern facility and friendly, nice and knowledgeable staff. It is not a good thing when you need an Oncologist, but if you do, Dr Hixson is a good doctor to see.

He is very knowledgeable, and the equipment in his office is state of the art. He works hand in hand with the chemotherapy oncologist in the same building. Dr Hixson is a caring, personable doctor that really cares about his patients. He spends as long as you want to spend with him so you understand what your treatment and results will be. His staff at the Daphne office are absolutely the best, they really care about the folks they treat, you are not just a number or an insurance check.
