Dr. William B Hoppenjans, MD

I respectfully suggest you find another dermatologist. After waiting the better part of an hour, Hoppenjans never even bothered to poke his head in the door to say he'd be with me "soon". When I told the woman at the desk I was leaving (and why) I didn't get so much as a halfhearted apology. There are a lot of skin doctors in the area, and I'm sure they'd love the business this guy seems intent on pushing away with his atrocious attitude toward patients.

I have gone to other dermotologists in the area and Dr. Hoppenjans is a much better doctors than the other ones I have gone to. Getting into a dermotologist in the area is not easy no matter which doctor you go to. My wait time with Dr. Hoppenjans was less than others and I have been going to Dr. Hoppenjans for years. He is an excellent doctor and he has great follow up and does not hassle you on refills.

I had been seeing Dr. Hoppenjans for nearly ten years for a yearly skin cancer check. In the past few years his demeanor has changed for the worse. He had told offensive (dirty) jokes, has become arrogant and abrupt and was extremely nasty to my autistic teenage daughter when I took her in for acne treatment. He scolded her for having difficulty swallowing her pills even though I had told him she was autistic. I won't be going there again. His behavior was inexcusable.

Not very nice. He is a smaarty pants. THinks he knows it all.
