Dr. William Hunter, MD

Would give him 0 stars if i could. I am 21 years old and Hunter wanted to do a fusion on my spine. Thankfully i saw through his BS of only wanting the money and not caring about anything else

He is the best and he is not only a Doctor he care about his patience and he always have time to talk and answer any question thank you Doctor William D Hunter.

I have a VERY BAD EXPERIENCE with Mr. William d. hunter after an unnecessary surgery. he might be a god for some, myself I considered him, Mr. w. hunter worse than satan. You readers may think that I am crazy for you don't know what he did to me. ( I am a victim of Dr William D Hunter)

Seen neurosurgeon at 10:40,,,have mri at 3:45,,results and decision on treatment in the morning,,special thanks to the doctors and staff of dr. William hunter Gastonia.

He charged me $265 for less than 10 min. Of his time and did absolutely nothing to help me.

Dr. hunter is a hack, a butcher and a thief. He is onlt after money and has no care for his patients or their pain. My father has had 3 back surgeries and still has several discs collapsed. The pain is endless. Dr. Hunter accused my father of being a pill head because his low grade hydro 7s that Dr.hunter gave him werent working at all and he refused to give him anything higher. He even threatened to take away the medication all together. We mustve called over 100 times with my father in tears from the pain. The staff was incredibly impersonal and the ladies were straight up rude. Gave us attitude every time we called. His PA is incredibly unprofessional and dismissive of his patients. The few times that we took my father to the office, which is an hour and twenty minutes away mind you, they would almost always refuse to see him unless my parents coughed up hundreds of dollars. At one point this idiot doctor refused to see my father for so long and actually take care of him… like he should, my father developed a severe staff infection in his spine that temporarily crippled him and almost made him septic. I also lost my father from an infection that this supposed doctor contiously missed/ignored. We have now gone to another doctor for a second option who was appalled at the state of my fathers back. Did 2 MRI's on the spot and found that the screws that DR HUNTER PUT IN were now displaced and pushing against nerves that have yet to scared. Now we had no idea any of this had happened. Dr.hunter knew and he told us NOTHING. WE KNEW NOTHING ABOUT IT!! We couldve saved my father so much pain if Dr. hunter had actually been a doctor and seen his patient like he was suppose to. But no.. Our calls were ignored. Our attempts were dismissed and all he EVER asked for was more money.

I wouldn't recommend him to anyone in pain, especially if you want to ask questions. He seemed bothered by my questions, and wanted to spend zero time explaining my options to me. He was much more interested in just scheduling a surgery quickly rather than being an consultive doctor.

This Dr. is a joke. I will keep this short don't waste your time and/or money. All he cares about is getting the money for doing surgery. At the rate he is going he will be relocating to another to hide from all peoples life he messed up. If you think you are taking a lot of pills now, you could triple that amount after the surgery.

This was my 2nd visit but my first time seeing Dr.William Hunter and I can tell you that I liked him right off. I met one of his team members the first-time and I liked her right off too!!! That's what it's all about. I thank God for all my physicians and their staff. It makes a difference when you know that genuinely are interested and care about your wellbeing and concerns :D!!!

Office staff ok. Little time spent with Dr. Hunter. Would not take time to talk about what would will help pain. Just more tests scheduled. Continue to Wait 3 more weeks for another appointment. No pain medspf course just take the time of 11 months and deal with it. Please pray for me as I can take no more. My life is in bed as my left leg is numb. What is wrong with doctors. At least we euthanize our pets and I continue in pain. US needs to overhaul health system.
