Dr. William Lynn Jackson JR., MD

I saw this man for 16 years of my life. I’m 35 now and he still holds a special place in my heart (pun intended) and a voice I’ll never forget.

Okay so I have twins that are now 6 years old and my youngest is 3! One of my twins see doctor William Jackson and we couldnt be more pleased my daughter has a few issues one is the reason for her open heart surgery aortic valvular stenosis she also has a leaky valve she has went to him hes been amazing the while way my youngest has also went to him she had an issue and s hes still watching it anyways point being I always tell people about him he and his staff are the best and make u feel at home and at ease

The most rudest individual I’ve ever met in such a profession as this. Why we continued to go for so long I am hating myself. My daughter was told to do what he said or she would be in a wheelchair drooling. Told us put a picture on fridge of a kid in wheelchair being handicapped. If that’s not enough my son has needed a valve replacement but focused on his weight calling him obese or in kid terms fat his words that he would drop dead if the weight doesn’t come off. Finally after my son calling himself a hippopotamus I requested his records. We’ve been going since 2007 and I was done in 2018. After getting records they said from Jackson after consulting with his colleagues surgery is recommended to be discussed with parents. NEVER NEVER WAS. ALL HE FOCUSED ON WAS CALLING MY SON FAT. Now my son has multiple heart issues instead of just a valve. He’s almost 13 years old and now has chf cause of this monster of the worst Dr ever. I’m process of getting to Cleveland Ohio from… Bartlesville to fix this jerks mess he created for my family. Please review before this happens to you. It’s a nightmare.

Dr. Jackson is knowledgeable, but he is very rude. He's nice until you ask him a question, so be prepared to not ask any questions! Also, he had to send my daughter to another facility for tests and they don't help with getting an appointment or help you obtain the results. Just a complete mess!

I have NEVER been treated so poorly in my whole life. After doing a ton of tests on my son he tells me he has no idea why its happening and what is causing his heart to do what its doing. ( Don't want to get into the details) He said he is going to refer me to a specialist in that area. Why in the world could he not have called me on the phone to tell me he has no idea about anything, cant help me, and will be referring me. Well, because he wanted money!! I left in tears with no answers to what is going on with my son, and have to wait months to get into the specialist. Do not waste your time with this quack of a Dr.

I have read the reviews above. We are people and despite what we do in our personal lives he is an amazing doctor. I would recommend him to my family and friends without hesitation. His assistant is amazing and they work very well as a team with quick response to my concerns. No one can be perfect or liked by everyone. God bless.

I have read reviews and it makes me a little nervous, however, I will say I have not had problems with this dr. at all. I have never smelled smoke on him and he spends quite a bit of time with us usually. His staff is very friendly. We do have to usually wait about 30 min. in the waiting room and 30-45 min. in the patient room to be seen, however. One time, he was dealing with a more severe problem with another patient and we were there 2 hrs. before being seen. It probably would have been better just to come in and do the 5 min exam and then go to the other person, but I wasn't upset. I didn't want the other person to have more problems. Dr. Jackson has been very friendly to us but my daughter doesn't have major problems.

We fortunately changed pediatric cardiologists after a few visits; my child's life is too important to take him to this person. Changed his diagnosis 3 times, wanted multiple echocardiograms because he "could not see", would not do his own echos. Barely examined my child during visits. He smells heavily of smoke on every visit; we wait over an hour each time telling us he is "in an emergency", but we saw him out smoking before our visit the last time. Hardly an emergency to make us and other patients wait while the cardiologist is smoking. Overall a horrible experience. Go elsewhere.

This physician has good interpersonal skills but is incompetent. He "watched" my child's condition for years as his heart deteriorated, then claimed that we as parents refused to bring him back for appropriate followup. Blamed us for his incompetence. My child suffered unnecessarily and required a valve transplant rather than a repair due to his negligence. We now go to Oklahoma City for care. Would definitely not recommend. This Dr should NOT be in practice!
